The Clarke

Pure southern luxury.

Welcoming residents into their newfound oasis, Clarke embodies southern luxury in its purest form. The predominant concept behind the identity is rooted in the design history from both the time period of Charleston’s founding as well as this building’s construction. When Charleston was founded in the 1670’s, the written word via the printing press was the primary form of communication. The fonts and styles utilized here are respectively from those eras. Our serif is a modern interpretation of the classic typesets while our secondary font is derivative of the Art Deco style. All of this is echoed throughout the design approach of the space. A contemporary elegance that carries both nostalgia and modernity.
